Recently, nearly 500 individuals gathered in the Flushing area of New York City for a significant Buddhist ceremony organized by various Buddhist groups. This event, known as the “Compassion Samadhi Water Repentance Ceremony,” was led by the esteemed Vice President of the World Buddhism Headquarters, Master Zheng Da. Participants chanted the Samadhi Water Repentance Sutra, seeking the compassionate blessings of Guanyin Bodhisattva to alleviate karmic burdens accumulated over lifetimes.
The ceremony served as a powerful moment for devotees to pray for blessings, wisdom, and the removal of negative emotions and worries from their hearts, ultimately aiming for physical and mental purification.
