On October 12, a significant event took place in Zhangzhou, as the inaugural meeting of the Zhangzhou Cultural and Creative Industry Alliance was held. This initiative is guided by the Publicity Department of the CPC Zhangzhou Municipal Committee and the Zhangzhou Cultural and Tourism Bureau.
During the meeting, the “Zhangzhou Cultural and Creative Industry Alliance Initiative” was read aloud, urging all member entities to leverage the alliance’s platform and resource advantages. The goal is to foster effective communication of information regarding the development, promotion, and application of cultural creative outcomes. The emphasis is on creating a comprehensive ecosystem for the cultural creative industry that encompasses all aspects, from development to production, ultimately transforming Zhangzhou’s rich cultural resources into competitive strengths in cultural creation and industry.
He Jincai, Deputy Minister of the Zhangzhou Municipal Committee’s Publicity Department, remarked on the promising environment for cultural creativity in Zhangzhou, characterized by favorable policies, robust market demand, abundant cultural resources, and an emerging talent pool. He expressed hope that alliance members would collaborate to explore cultural resources, promote innovative integration, enhance technological empowerment, and develop strong brand IPs. He emphasized the importance of strengthening internal systems, enhancing communication among members, and building the alliance’s brand to contribute to the thriving of the cultural creative industry.
The Zhangzhou Cultural and Creative Industry Alliance was jointly established by 110 entities, including universities, enterprises, industry associations, intangible cultural heritage projects, and cultural venues, all of which have made notable contributions to cultural creativity. With the construction concept of “Empowering Cultural Creativity to Lead Industrial Development” and the development principles of “Openness, Cooperation, Empowerment, Co-Creation, Sharing, and Win-Win,” the alliance aims to improve cultural creative research and development, establish interlinked distribution platforms, and connect external cultural creative resources. The alliance is committed to building a robust ecosystem for the cultural industry in Zhangzhou, providing strong momentum for its development.
