Once the headquarters of the 007 movie villain, a 100 million super yacht crashed into a dock and was seriously damaged.

A $100 million superyacht recently experienced a significant incident in Tunisia, crashing into a dock while causing extensive damage. The current owner of this impressive vessel is Saudi Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, while former owner and notable previous figure is former U.S. President Donald Trump. This yacht, named “Trump Princess,” even made a cameo in a James Bond film.

According to reports from the New York Post citing The Sun, the superyacht “Kingdom 5KR” struck a breakwater at the Marina of Bizerte on October 11 due to a docking mishap. The boat’s starboard side collided with the dock, leading to considerable damage beneath the hull and to the dock itself.

Eyewitnesses say that just before the yacht hit the dock, the anchor had already been deployed, which caused the bow to scrape against the port.

The YouTube channel The Yacht Report points out that this superyacht has a rich history of prestigious owners. Built in 1980 for Saudi billionaire and arms dealer Adnan Khashoggi at a cost of $100 million, it was originally named “Nabila.”

Before Prince Al-Waleed owned it, the yacht was held by the Sultan of Brunei and Donald Trump, who renamed it “Trump Princess” in 1988.

The large yacht gained fame when it appeared in the 1983 James Bond film “Never Say Never Again,” serving as the headquarters for the film’s antagonist. It can accommodate 22 guests and 31 crew members, featuring 11 guest cabins, six oversized refrigerators, five decks, a large swimming pool, a cinema, a hair salon, a disco, a library, and even a hospital equipped with an operating room.

The yacht measures 86 meters (about 282 feet) in length and has a top speed of 20 knots. An investigation into the cause of the accident is currently underway.
